    Snopes is NEVER reliable where politics are concerned. it is owned by two ultra liberal Californians. They will not admit to anything that is derogatory about the Democratic party. Therefore, we do not trust them for anything any more.

    Politifact is notoriously biased. Fact in point- a recent fact check on the following OB statement “We do know that Romney personally approved over $70 million in fictional losses to the IRS as part of the notorious ‘Son of Boss’ tax scandal, one of the largest tax avoidance schemes in history.”
    Politifact gave it a Half truth, stating ” what Romney specifically approved is unclear”.
    Well how is that a half truth?! OB clearly said we KNOW that Romney personally approved….” but the facts show that what he specifically approved is unknown.
    Politifact is as corrupt as the rest of them.

    Please ignore the above comment as the OP is obviously biased by the political affiliation of Snopes owners. Which is irrelevant, as the site is not OPINION-BASED.

    The fact that Snopes defends both ‘Liberals’ and ‘Conservatives’ make it MUCH more reliable, than say… Fox news or MSNBC.

    Newsflash: There are over 33 million fake accounts on social networking sites, bent on stoking your political anger. ;) Bots and paid schills. What could go wrong? ;)

    I am very skeptical of all fact check web sites.I do not believe it is possible for humans to be totally unbiased and honest. Do the three top recommended fact check sites employ both liberals and Conservatives? What processes do they have in place to verify the so called facts.

    In order to really give the American people confidence in fact checking, the industry must be required to have independent fact check audits at least twice a year and maybe more during an election year. This could easily be a government regulation similar to the regulations on the accounting profession. Everyone knows the government can stop lies and fraud.

    Where these websites get their funding tells a lot about their bias. Fox news does have liberal and conservation opinions on the news.

    LOL I used all 3 asked all 3 the same question which had to be truth because I heard and seen Obama say it.. all 3 said he never said it.. Obama care is a tax.
