Actually, you don’t HAVE to have Usenet. There’s a direct torrent link, if you look carefully. However, you just have to look out because there are 2 other links on the same page for usenet. As long as you have a torrent client, you are fine.

A lot of torrenting sites do that these days…

They may be good torrent sites but they are certainly NOT FREE. You have to purchase Usenet membership in order to download the books.
